STAY STRONG IN THE WORD!!!
The most deadly medicine, I believe, is a watered-down gospel—because the tragic results are eternal.
Jesus says there will be two groups of people in the end times. One group Jesus calls few, the other He calls many. “Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name? … and done many wonders?’ ... And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ ” (Matthew 7:22, 23).
Evidently, the majority of Christ’s professed followers are self-deceived. This is a very frightening truth…They know His name, their religious activities SEEM to have the marks of genuine ministry, but Jesus, with a broken heart, will declare to them, “I don’t know you.” Why? Because they live a compromised life full of sin without repentance, maintaining that their sin is no longer sin because the Bible was written so long ago.., and they consequently change the gospel to fit their own agendas..
Hebrews 2 :1-4 so we must listen very carefully to the truth we have heard, or we may drift away from it. The message that was delivered by the angels has always proved true, and the people were punished for every violation of the law in every act of disobedience. What makes us think that we can escape if we are indifferent to this great salvation that was announced by the Lord Jesus himself? It was passed on to us by those who heard him speak, and God verified the message by signs and wonders and various miracles and by giving gifts of the Holy Spirit whenever he chose to do so.
This is a warning against drifting away… I feel that evil is so rampant in the world and many people and leaders in ministry need to stay so strong and so steadfast in the WORD.. the TRUTH!
We cannot stray from the exact truth of the Bible… We cannot blur the line in the sand, what we say may not always be popular… We are all going to give an account on judgment day for the things we did but also the things we didn’t do…
By saying nothing , We say everything !!!!
By softening the gospel and changing the words to fit today’s narratives, people could fall away..
A watered down and changed gospel to fit these immoral times is an ultimate pit of destruction in the making… We cannot be willing to take this risk!
Persecution for Christians is certain, but we cannot be afraid of this… The Bible says when you see these things look up where does our help come from..?
Matthew 24:33
In the same way, when you see all these things, you can know his return is very near, right at the door.
It’s time to stand strong it’s time to put on your full armor and advance the kingdom of God!
Hebrews 4:1-4 God’s promise of entering his place of rest still stands, we are to tremble with fear that some might fail to get there. For this is good news – that God has prepared a place of rest - it has been announced to us just as it was to them. But it did them no good because they didn’t believe what God told them. For only believers can enter his place of rest. As for those who didn’t believe, God said, “In my anger I made a vow, “they will never enter my place of rest.”
Today you must listen to his voice. Don’t harden your hearts
Against Him... Hebrews 4:7
God would not have spoken about another day of rest if it wasn’t true, so there is a special day of rest still waiting for the people of God. For all who enter into God’s rest will find rest from the laborers, just as God rested after creating the world.. let us do our best to enter the place of rest. The Word is Living Power, it is sharper than the sharpest knife, cutting deep, it exposes us. Nothing in all creation can hide from God, everything is exposed before his eyes.
That is why we have a savior, Jesus, the son of God. Let us cling to him and never stop trusting him. This high priest of ours understands our weaknesses for he faced all of the same temptations we do, yet did not sin. So let us come boldly to the throne of grace. There we will receive his mercy and find grace to help us when we need it.
We should all have confidence that God has created us for greater things… It is not his will for anyone to perish… We should stick so close to the word and know it for ourselves as to not be fooled, or led astray that we might fall victim to the lies that go against the gospel of Jesus Christ!
There is only one way to heaven… Just one way!!!!
